A year in review

New Instagram Profile
This year, we’ve taken a slightly different approach to social media. For Instagram, we created a selection of 12 posts that work on both levels — individually and as a part of the profile ’canvas’.
Each post is a part of a perfectly structured narration — opposed to the usual imperfection and liveliness of social media — starting with what Rocking Tech is, what we do and what we have achieved.

Brainstorm Feels
BrainStorm is a Latvian pop/rock band, famous for placing third at the Eurovision Song Contest 2000 and performing at various music festivals including Glastonbury.
In April 2021, we launched a multi-domain website dedicated to their new album. Foremost, it was an interactive online experience with mini-games, a countdown and a ranking of cities awaiting the broadcast.
Later, Brainstorm approached us to relaunch the website for their video presentation of a new album, and also facilitate its online broadcast on the 21st of October.
WorkSimplr 2.0
Our collaboration began in 2020 with an MVP of Work Simplr is all about — an online co-working space, a platform for running internships and other projects.
In 2021, we created its 2.0 version with the Open Marketplace and many new features like milestones, deadlines, instant messaging etc.

OurVoice
Imagine an online training platform featuring the world’s cutting-edge trainers from the climate movement, with a fully immersive virtual classroom experience, available to anyone with a passion for the planet. Well, this is it.
It is also a result of 18 months of development and testing. Due to a public launch in 2022, OurVoice is also a crowdfunding platform, integrated rigorously with Stripe Connect API.
Leona Graham
Our collaboration with Leona Graham — a voiceover artist and a presenter at Absolute Radio, London — has begun in 2020, when we at Rocking Tech created a brand new website to complete her high profile. Later, together we launched Rock’N’Road, a podcast about cars, motorcycles and music.
In 2021, we continued our endeavours and released Rock’N’Road series 2 and 3, as well as revived High Voltage Media — a venture that provides high-end audio and podcast production with branding and rich visual materials.

Student Central
Launched in 2021, Student Central is an online platform for connecting international students and UK-based universities. It is also a result of a long and fruitful collaboration between Rocking Tech and UNI4U that originates in 2019.
For Student Central, first, we created a brand new app architecture with a comprehensive student questionnaire, as well as a new branding kit. Over the following months, we gradually enabled various API integrations and released an interactive filter of universities.
Metrics.Plus
After many months of intensive development, we launched Metrics.Plus — a fully-automated platform for website monitoring on a subscription basis.
Metrics.Plus alerts you if your website is down or the SSL/domain is about to expire, as well as provides you with basic SEO insights.
NatWest Accelerator
This year, Rocking Tech was accepted to NatWest Startup Accelerator twice. First, in June for the 2021 cohort, and then in December for the 2022 intake, moving into the High Growth category.
