Milton Keynes was purpose-built for growth. The famous grid system – H roads running east-west, V roads running north-south – was designed so that businesses could move freely and expand without the bottlenecks that plague older cities. We think about software the same way: build the infrastructure right from the start, and everything else flows.

Rocking Tech has been based in Milton Keynes since 2019. We’ve grown here, built relationships across the local business community, and when we take on a project, we’re not some faceless agency in London or overseas. We’re down the road.

We’ve been part of the NatWest Entrepreneur Accelerator at the Milton Keynes hub since 2020 – three six-month programmes with one-to-one coaching, peer groups, and access to the network across their 12 UK hubs. In February 2026, our founder presented at the NatWest Accelerator hub and the IoTMK meetup at MK:U Innovation Hub on the same day.

We’re also regulars at the MK:U Innovation Hub on Silbury Boulevard, Cranfield University’s coworking and innovation space for local businesses. Our founder Anatoly Silko completed his MBA at Cranfield School of Management, and in November 2023 was invited back to campus by the Director of the Bettany Centre for Entrepreneurship to run a workshop on building digital products during Global Entrepreneurship Week.

The IoTMK talk – “What a Guitar Can Teach You About Building Apps Without Code” – explored the gap between AI-assisted prototyping and production-ready software, and why speed of assembly doesn’t reduce the cost of getting it wrong.
